During puberty, cartilage growth plates on the ends of the child’s longer bones start to lengthen gradually, which contributes to the dramatic growth spurts during this period.

Only surgery can help if you are no longer growing. There is no way your bones will lengthen at this stage. You now have to resort to other ways to get tall.

One should not opt right away for surgery. It will be too risky, complications as (1) bone breakage, (2) bone twisting, and (3) paralysis are possible. The procedure will be difficult to perform and may become painful. You may find it hard to get yourself an expert surgeon even. And to find one will be expensive.

There are natural ways and options to make your body taller. One is by subscribing to a healthy diet. Then you complement it will regular exercise. These will help in facilitating the growth spurts.

It is important to get the necessary nutrients so that you will be supporting fully your growing years. Having sufficient calcium will help for the healthier bones and in the development of these. Not having such nutrients will result to weak bones and shrinking of your body frame. This will result to a shorter effect in your overall height.
